Community tourist routes

"The Danków Route" cycling track- length-14.5km

It begins at Cmentarna Street in Strzelce Krajeńskie, leads through Piastowo, Wielisławice, the Gorzów Forest and ends up in Danków. The path is especially valuable due to its environmental richness. One may see species of game such as deers and roe deers and many species of fowl like black and white storks, white-tailed eagles, cranes and herons. There are numerous streams, ponds and lakes along the route. There are sheltered rest spots prepared for tourists.

The "Down the trail of nature reserves" cycling and hiking track- length-38km

The trail starts in Strzelce Krajeńskie at Gorzowska Street and runs through Piastowo, Wielisławice to Wilanów. At this stage of the track, near Przyłęg, there are two nature reserves: "Wilanów" with its unique 160-year-old Pomeranian beech wood and "Przyłężek" named after the beautifully winding river. From that point the track heads towards Zdroisk, crosses the national Gorzów-Gdańsk road and runs along the shores of the Lake Wełmino. The next stage leads along the edge of the reserve "Buki Zdroiskie" and follows the Santoczna River to Górki Noteckie. The last stage follows a forest track from Międzymoście to Sławno and ends in Strzelce Krajeńskie.

Cycling track to Długie- length-28km

Its beginning is on the town's outskirts at Poznańska Street. This is the shortest and safest way to get to the Tourist and Holiday Center in Długie (11km). At first the route goes along the fields and after passing the resting spot on the "Staw Anioła" (Anioł's Pond) just for a moment it gets into the thicket of the Drawa Forest. After passing the lakes Rydzek Głęboki and Rydzek Miałki the path crosses the national road 22 (near Długie) and leads farther by the shores of the big, old lakes Słowa and Lipie. After reaching its destination in Długie it turns back to Strzelce Krajeńskie in the area of the "Stary Folwark"- (the old manor).

The beginning of the route is simultaneously the beginning of "Lubuskie Little Masuria" route. In the Tourist and Holiday Center in Długie where the routes begins one may take advantage of the accommodation and catering base as well as tourist equipment rental shops.

The route leads from the Lake Lipie through the pass to Lake Słowa and along the channel to the Lake Osiek. There it follows a creek called Mierzęcka Struga to Lake Wielgie Dobiegniewskie (length- 8km). It leads along the river again to Mierzęcin, then to Drawa and Noteć rivers.
