Tourist Routes

There is a lot to offer for visitors in terms of cycling and hiking. Numerous tourist routes, cycling and hiking paths lead through the area's most attractive views and sights, showing its natural beauty.

The yellow route (cycling and hiking)

The 27km-long route leads from Górki Noteckie to the burnt Bridge on the Lake Ogardzka Odnoga. It leads through the Gorzów and Drawa Forests, crosses the picturesque valleys of the Pełcz and Sarbina Rivers, then passes through Strzelce- the region's capital. Later it moves east to Licheń and reaches the complex of large glacial lakes: Lake Brodzisz, Lake Słowa and Lake Osiek (600ha), and Lake Ogardzka Odnoga where it comes to an end. It is possible for tourists to divide the tour along the track into two stages and to stay overnight in Strzelce Krajeńskie.

The blue route (cycling and hiking)

The 18km-long route is called "Down the trail of the lakes of Strzelce". It runs from the remains of the burnt bridge on Lake Ogardzka Odnoga to Strzelce Krajeńskie. Tourists can admire mighty pine-trees of the Drawa Forest and the blue-green lakes among them Lake Słowa and Lake Lipie (182ha). After passing Lake Rydzek one moves along the forest and field paths to Strzelce Krajeńskie. The route joins the cycling track between Długie and Strzelce.

The red route (hiking)

Santoczno-Brzoza-Strzelce Krajeńskie- Stare Kurowo

The 20km-long route leads through the Gorzów and Drawa Forests. Its first stage goes across the swift Przyłęg and Pełcz Rivers and continues among the trees of the valley of the Młynówka River in its second stage. Then it climbs up the slopes of moraine hills from 80 to 100 m above the sea level.
