The Mayor

TADEUSZ FEDER - The Mayor of Strzelce Krajeńskie

He was born on 10^th June 1958 in Strzelce Krajeńskie. He is a graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań on the faculty of History, as well as a postgraduate at the University of Szczecin on the faculty of Management.

- from 1998 to 2002 the Deputy Staroste of Strzelce-Drezdenko Poviat Starosty (district authority),
- from 2005 to 2006 the Staroste of Strzelce-Drezdenko Poviat Starosty.
- since 2006 the mayor of Strzelce Krajeńskie.

He has two sons-Rafał, 26, and Mateusz, 21. Feder's wife, Olena, is an elementary school teacher.
Hobbies: tourism, cycling, literature.

The mayor manages the works of the Town Hall.

He deals with his responsibilities with the help of the Deputy Mayor, the Town Manager, the Treasurer, the managers of departments, as well as employees working on independent posts.

The Mayor is of superior position to the employees of the staff of the Town Hall and the managers of organizational units in the commune.
The Mayor's main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Managing the commune's current matters and representing,
- Stating declaration of will on behalf of the commune in the area of managing its property and giving the power of attorney within the same area,
- Defining the human resources and financial policies,
- Managing the commune's financial policy,
- Giving the power of attorney ad litem,
- Approving duties and responsibilities of the employees of the Town Hall,

Implementing actions of the Labor Law towards the employees of the Town Hall and granting authority in this matter.
